A longtime NJ osteopathic medicine practitioner, Dr. John LaRatta treated patients at Berlin Family Practice Associates from 2000 to 2021. He is active with the American Osteopathic Association and holds privileges spanning Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees and Jefferson Health in Stratford, NJ. John LaRatta, DO’s present focus is on instructing others in his field as an assistant professor at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. LaRatta is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He undertook internship work at the institution in the 1990s, and pursued a residency through PCOM at the Saint Agnes Medical Center. He also holds a BA earned at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
Since 1996, Dr. LaRatta has been a member of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. His past leadership responsibilities with the organization included roles as president, treasurer, and secretary. He is presently a Credentialing Committee medical executive with Virtua Health System.
